1. Baiting

Baiting is one of the most common social engineering attacks. This type of attack depends whether the victim takes the bait or not. The attacker will always try to push the target to making wrong decisions.

Baiting implies faking or luring the target into danger by making fake promises or rewards, so that the target unknowingly steps into a trap and he/she loses their personal data as their system gets infected.
